Look, I'm old skool, right? I started DJing in '92 and yes, I dated myself. So, '92. Digital music in my world didn't exist. I'd been on (and off vinyl) until mmm the end of 2005. Even then, I was reluctant. But it had a lot to do with not knowing really how it all worked and being a skeptic. I have collected, went digging, carried crates blah, blah, blah so I've paid those dues.
I AM about progression and evolving and using the tools I need to be efficient and do my job well or easier. Serato made this easier for me. Ok. Yeah.
So, along comes the controller. Believe it or not, I've been on turntables this whole time. We have a controller. But ask me if I've ever used it. The answer is once just to try it.
I've been told numerous times that I need to learn how to use it since I'm doing mobiles more and am getting inquiries out of town. Meh. I tried it. I hate it. It feels unnatural. Remark told me, "Get used to it." hahah OK.
